This is a pretty good article. Thanks! I especially agree that if you are using affiliate links in your blog, you have to make sure they are useful to the reader. Which is why, as a travel blogger, I tend to stick to airtickets and hotel bookings. And so far, I haven't found a platform that would allow me to do within those boundaries than Travelpayouts. Not to be salesy, but they are pretty great: good commission, transparent statistics. But most importantly, I can join multiple affiliate programs without registering for each of them individually.
